In the NOv. 19, edition of the Peoria Republic it says,
“More than 200,000 provisional and early ballots were outstanding county-wide after Election Day. As of Friday, fewer than 10,000 early ballots remained. There are still more than 100,000 provisional ballots that need to be verified and counted.”
My husband and I voted by mail early. Can we find out if our votes were counted? Also, two neighbors who have lived in the neighborhood 14 and 15 years, and who were registered and had previously voted, were told they would have to have a provisional ballot.
It seems that the large amount of votes that have not been counted would have had an effect on the election.
We don’t understand how this could happen and WHY it happened. This makes us wonder if our early vote had any effect on the election. Thanks, David and Sandra Oxedine,Peoria
Can you help us understand this??
Thanks, and we appreciate your conservative views and service to our country.
