I have a website that has 3000 unique users visit per day. In order to support that traffic I pay for enough guaranteed server horsepower from DreamHost so the user does not have to wait. The problem with that is that totals up to about 80 US dollars per month. Uh but google adsense revenue is about 45 US Dollar per month leaving a deficit of about 35 dollars per month. If you think you are going to make money using a 10 dollar per month cheapy plan I think you better think again. Your server will not be available at peak times and thus you will miss the bigger share of the ad clicking revenue from google. That is the flaw in plans marketed to you in this manner. In this example she is referring you to companies who are giving her a referral fee and thus she mentions none of what I have just told you in regards the problems with shared servers. The only alternative is to get your own server. The only caveat there is you will be paying about 150 US Dollars per month. However you can probably host the same amount of sites as DreamHost serves out with one of their shared servers. From what I have seen that is on the order of hundreds of sites. Thus in order to do it right you must have a dedicated server you load up yourself with operating system like from ThePlanet and subsequently load on a truckload of your own websites. And now you know why virtualization software is hot.

I recommend you try out a brand new alternative to Adsense called, Prosperent. It’s super easy to stick the code on your site and the ads are very customizable so they blend well. You won’t be disappointed!
