Castro hanging on to power for 50 years demonstrates the inevitable outcome of leftist policies

There are 2 possibilities in regards Castro and his 50 year rule over Cuba

#1 – he really is smarter than everybody else COMBINED in Cuba and was good for Cuba

#2 – leftist liberal socialist comunists policies and politicians all eventually boil down to the same thing. Rule by fiat.

How could this guy spend 50 years justifying to himself that he’s doing Cuba a favor ?   Couldn’t have have retired after 10 years and never had to ever work again in this life?  He must have had a pyschological need of some sort to not step down after some reasonable amount of time in power.

I think alot of liberals in this country display the same sort of impulse.  A weird sort of sanctimonious religious self interest.  These people can rationalize ANYTHING.
