When Will American Car Companies Choose the Obvious Route to Success – Produce the Concept Car!

So where can I buy this concept car?  By the time it gets to market it looks like the Aztek below…..

For the love of christmas don’t screw up the concept car design, sell as is!

How many times have you seen a really cool concept car design in the press? Then you never see the design in the same form again? 

What corporate genius decides to then un-coolify the design before manufacture?  Duh! They want to sell more cars?  Then do not screw with the design. 

Instead we get designs like the Pontiac AzTek.  I’m nice guy but if I was head of GM I would have the guy who ok’d this design for production taken out and summarily shot.  Either that or if he wanted to keep his job a mandatory red pepper mace enema while wearing dunce cap.

For the love of christmas am I the only person who sees this?
