Results
- Removed hard drive and the display showed function – concluded it was probably because very little computational load after initial BIOS boot thus low dissipation in the chips. Was not sure and these things are annoying when you try and efforts do not result in success.
- Noted the GPU / Glue chip pad from first video in list above.
- I had my doubts about the issue being a paste issue – bought some on mercadolivre
- When I opened the laptop the thermal pad between the GPU / Glue chip was missing – used paste to bridge the gap and prove the issue
- Successful boot up. Ordered thermal pad 1mm thick on Mercadolivre
