My friend Joe refinished the pine flooring of an old farm house. It took him some time to do but the results were very good. This is a compendium of notes he gave me on his process.
Process Sequence
- 24 grit
- Wood Filler – sands like wood when dry
- 80
- 120

Below are photos of my neighbors floor which was done by a local floor professional to compare. Joe's floors look comparable. However I think the pro's results are slightly better.
